A small history of big events
DotE (Defenders of the Earth) Counter-Strike Clan was started in summer 2002 by four guys from Sheffield Hallam Uni. We chose the name DotE for absolutely no reason.
After three HEAVY defeats out went Enigma and Essington Hartman (sorry guys!) and in came three new members to leave us with our second lineup. We won a couple of games, we lost a couple; we were a standard clan in the Standard Ladder of Enemy Down. This was not good enough. We went inactive for a couple of months after Christmas 2003 to improve the clan once more.
DotE is still active with its best-ever lineup and hope to compete in as many leagues as possible.
Defenders of the Earth??
Defenders of the Earth is an animated television series of the 1980s featuring three characters from comic strips distributed by King Features Syndicate — Flash Gordon, The Phantom, and Mandrake the Magician — battling the Flash Gordon villain Ming the Merciless in the year 2015. Supporting characters include their children Rick Gordon, Jedda Walker (daughter of The Phantom), Kshin (adopted son of Mandrake), Mandrake's assistant Lothar, and Lothar's son L.J. The show lasted for 62 episodes; there was also a short-lived comic book series published by Star Comics (an imprint of Marvel Comics).
